Moubray House, Edificio catalogado Categoría A en High Street, Edimburgo, Escocia.
El edificio de piedra en 51-53 High Street presenta un techo pintado del Renacimiento con vigas y decoraciones en yeso con patrones de frutas y flores de 1650.
Construido por Robert Moubray en 1477 y reconstruido en 1529, la estructura resistió el Incendio de Edimburgo en 1544 ordenado por Enrique VIII.
La residencia albergó a figuras notables como el pintor George Jamesone, el escritor Daniel Defoe y el editor Archibald Constable, propietario de la Encyclopedia Britannica.
El edificio medieval se encuentra entre Trunk's Close y la Casa de John Knox, cerca de la antigua ubicación de la entrada Netherbow Port de Edimburgo.
El apartamento del ático con bóveda de barril en madera permanece visible desde el exterior, representando elementos arquitectónicos de diferentes períodos constructivos.
