Descripción
El Monumento aos Bandeirantes es un monumento al aire libre con 23 esculturas de bronce que se extienden a lo largo de 60 metros. Las figuras están distribuidas en un amplio espacio que forma una instalación escultural considerable.
Historia
El escultor Murilo Sá Toledo creó este monumento, que fue inaugurado en 2006 y representa a exploradores portugueses que se aventuraron hacia el interior de Brasil durante la época colonial. Conmemora estas expediciones en forma de escultura de bronce.
